2008 – Giovanni Ozzola – Omnia munda mundis

To celebrate the launch of the 2006 vintage – the 25th harvest by Marco Pallanti, enologist and agronomist at Ama since 1982 – Ama’s CEO Lorenza Sebasti inaugurated a special project which brought a new means of artistic expression to Castello di Ama: photography. The young Florentine artist Giovanni Ozzola was invited to bring his particular touch to bear on the place and the event.
This three-part photographic work uses meticulously selected details from images of a centuries-old holm oak in the garden of Villa Pianigiani to encapsulate the passage of time and its endless rebirth – the life cycle so dear to agriculture.
